How Email Bridge Works

Send iMessages by emailing +phone@send.tuco.ai from your email client. No app, no API, no setup beyond having a Tuco account.

Sending a Message

  1. Compose an email in Gmail, Outlook, or any email client
  2. Set the To field to: +19042956129@send.tuco.ai
  3. Write your message in the email body
  4. Hit Send — Tuco sends it as an iMessage and emails you a confirmation

Email Formats

FormatDescription
+19042956129@send.tuco.aiUses your first available active line
+19042956129-1@send.tuco.aiUses a specific line number (shown on Lines page)

Requirements

  • Your email must be registered in Tuco (or added to the sender allowlist)
  • Your workspace must have at least one active iMessage line
  • Phone number must be in E.164 format (+country code + number)

Sender Allowlist

Allow additional email addresses to send via the bridge without a Tuco account:
  1. Go to Integrations → Email Bridge
  2. Add colleague emails to the allowlist
  3. They can now send iMessages via email

Error Handling
