# Email Bridge

> Send iMessages by emailing +phone@send.tuco.ai — no app or API needed. Native integration for Tuco AI iMessage automation — works alongside HubSpot.

# Email Bridge

Send iMessages to any phone number by composing an email. Works from Gmail, Outlook, or any email client.

## How It Works

1. Compose an email in your email client
2. Set **To** to: `+19042956129@send.tuco.ai`
3. Write your message in the email body
4. Hit **Send**
5. Tuco sends it as an iMessage and emails you a confirmation

## Email Format

### Basic (uses first available line)

```
To: +19042956129@send.tuco.ai
Subject: (anything — ignored)
Body: Hey, wanted to follow up on our conversation yesterday.
```

### Specific line

```
To: +19042956129-line_abc123@send.tuco.ai
```

Find your line ID on the **Lines** page in the dashboard.

## Requirements

* Your email address (From) must be registered in Tuco
* Your workspace must have at least one active iMessage line
* Phone number must be in E.164 format (`+` country code + number)

## Error Handling

If something goes wrong, you receive a bounce email:

| Error                | Cause                               |
| -------------------- | ----------------------------------- |
| Invalid phone number | Check format: `+19042956129`        |
| Not authorized | Your email isn't registered in Tuco |
| No active lines | Set up a line at Lines → Purchase |
| Send failed | Recipient may not have iMessage |

## Security

<Warning>The Email Bridge verifies your identity by looking up your sender email in Tuco's user database. SPF/DKIM from your email provider is a secondary check — not the primary auth mechanism.</Warning>

Unauthorized emails receive a bounce explaining they need to register at app.tuco.ai first.
