# How to Send Bulk iMessage to a List of Contacts

> Send bulk iMessage from a CSV, Google Sheet, or CRM with Tuco AI: import contacts, verify iMessage availability, then send personalized blue-bubble campaigns with SMS fallback and rate limits.

**To send bulk iMessage, import your contact list (CSV, Google Sheet, HubSpot, or GoHighLevel) into Tuco AI, let it verify which contacts can receive iMessage, then launch a campaign that sends personalized blue-bubble messages at a safe pace with automatic SMS fallback.** Bulk iMessage should be sent as individual personalized messages — not a group thread — and paced with rate limits to protect deliverability.

## Send a bulk iMessage campaign in 4 steps

<Steps>
  <Step title="Import your list">
    Upload a [CSV or Google Sheet](/features/upload-leads), or sync from [HubSpot](/guides/send-imessage-from-hubspot) / [GoHighLevel](/guides/send-imessage-from-gohighlevel). Contacts are validated and deduplicated by phone number on import.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check availability in bulk">
    Tuco checks [iMessage availability](/guides/check-imessage-availability) for the whole list so eligible contacts get blue-bubble iMessage and the rest are queued for SMS.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Personalize and schedule">
    Build a [campaign](/features/campaigns) with merge variables, steps, and a send schedule. Personalized one-to-one messages perform better and are safer than a mass group send.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send with rate limits and fallback">
    Tuco paces sends within [rate limits](/features/rate-limits) and routes non-iMessage contacts to SMS via [fallback](/features/failures-and-fallbacks), so the whole list is reached.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## How many iMessages can I send per day?

Send volume depends on your plan and how many sending lines you have — daily message allowances scale with your plan (see [pricing](/pricing)), and each line also performs up to **70 iMessage availability checks per day**, distributed across lines automatically. Rather than blasting a new line at full volume, ramp gradually: new lines should warm up over time to protect deliverability and avoid getting flagged. See [rate limits](/features/rate-limits) and [anti-spam guidelines](/features/anti-spam-guidelines).

## Deliverability best practices for bulk sends

* **Warm up new lines** — increase volume gradually instead of sending at the cap on day one.
* **Send personalized, one-to-one messages** — not identical mass blasts or group threads.
* **Verify availability first** — don't burn sends on numbers that aren't on iMessage.
* **Honor opt-outs immediately** — process STOP replies and suppress those contacts.
* **Spread across lines** — distribute volume so no single line is overloaded.

## Frequently asked questions

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Can you send mass iMessage from a spreadsheet?">
    Yes. Upload a CSV or Google Sheet into Tuco, verify iMessage availability across the list, then send a personalized campaign. Each contact receives an individual message, not a group thread.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How many bulk iMessages can I send without getting flagged?">
    Stay within your plan's daily allowance, warm up new lines gradually, keep messages personalized, and spread volume across lines. Aggressive identical blasting from a cold line is what triggers flags — pacing protects deliverability.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does bulk iMessage require 10DLC registration?">
    No. iMessage runs over Apple's network, not the carrier A2P system that requires 10DLC. You still must follow consent and opt-out rules — see the [compliance guide](/guides/imessage-compliance-tcpa).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens to contacts who aren't on iMessage?">
    They're detected during the availability check and sent over SMS via your configured fallback, so your whole list is reached regardless of device.
